Part-time Care Assistant at Nursing and Care Home

For over 300 years, the Foundation of the Merchant's Widow House and Old Men's House has promoted good care and support for the elderly residents of the capital. We are centrally located in Södermalm.

The Merchant's Foundation is certified in the training program Living with Dementia, based on the palliative care philosophy of Silviahemmet.

Qualifications: Care Assistant with a protected title from the National Board of Health and Welfare.

About the job:

We are looking for someone versatile and meticulous, a team player with good communication skills and a genuine interest in working in elderly care.

You can express yourself fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written. You are attentive and present, and you enjoy working independently and in a group.

We seek someone with a sense of touch who values good quality and service for the guests at the nursing and care home. We have solid development opportunities for you as a Care Assistant within the nursing and care home. The position involves work in the dementia department.

About the position: We are looking for someone who wants to work day/evening/every other weekend. The job includes standard care assistant tasks such as nursing, documentation, medication distribution, providing good service to the guests at the home, and being a good colleague.

We apply vacation periods during the summer.

You must present valid identification at the interview, as well as a digital extract from the criminal record for “Elderly or adults with disabilities.”

The extract will not be saved by the employer after the control is completed.

We prefer that you have experience:

· Previous experience in elderly care.

· Experience in service professions is an advantage.

· Previous experience in areas of responsibility within care: e.g., contact person, hygiene, and palliative representative.
